Have photos?

Whenever I meet a new customer it always starts the same. First, they apologize because of how disorganized they are, then they tell me how they started organizing and the overwhelm that set in. There are so many photos!

And where once a family had maybe a box or two today we have heritage photos, printed photos, and then the tens of thousands of digital photos we have taken. Then not to mention the videos- we went from 8 mm film to VHS tapes, and then to mp4s. Not to mention slides, negatives, large photos in frames, and more. It IS overwhelming.

And how are they stored…. photo albums, boxes, on a shelf, scrapbooks, on old thumb drives, in the cloud, Shutterfly, photo books, or DVDs?

And my answer is always the same. We are all in the same boat. Thank yourself for any organization you have done in the past. Now let’s tackle the project!
